Roddy Scheer is a journalist and photographer specializing in nature, the outdoors, environmental issues and travel. His author credits include: Hiking Waterfalls Washington: A Guide to the State’s Best Waterfall Hikes (2nd Edition, Falcon Guides, 2019), Hiking Southern California: A Guide to Southern California's Greatest Hiking Adventures (Revised original book by Ron Adkison, Falcon Guides, 2019), EarthTalk: Expert Answers to Everyday Questions About the Environment (2009, Plume) and Mt. He also serves as Executive Director and Editor of EarthTalk, a weekly environmental Q&A column syndicated to 600+ media outlets across North America.
