Kerri Ryan has been in emergency medicine for 13 years, and studying nutrition for over 10 years, with a focus on cholesterol and heart related issues. Her education includes three years of pre-medical training at Maryland University, after which she chose to go into emergency medicine where she practiced for an additional five years as an EMT-P in Maryland and Virginia. As an EMT-P; holding an ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) license, Ms. Ryan also served her country in the US Navy as a FMF Field Corpsman, providing medical support to our US Marines between 1995 and 2003. While not a licensed general practicing physician, she has been studying and applying nutritional healing for over 25 years, in her life, as well as the lives of many of those around her.
Ms. Ryan's books are simple to read, easy to understand, and focus on nutrition as a complimenting therapy to the readers primary doctor. While the two work hand in hand, natural healing is far better for long term improvements, as they include little to no side effects.
