Beth Bernstein has been a veteran of the jewelry industry for twenty years, reporting on the cultural influences, designers, trends and history that shapes this wearable art form. She owns a consulting firm, which specializes in merchandising, marketing and branding for fine jewelers. Concurrently, she finds time to dabble in dating and relationships and obsessively dote on her family, and has written first person essays for woman’s and lifestyle magazines on these topics. She previously wrote columns for Newsday and The Village Voice and was a wardrobe stylist for Comedy Central and MTV. She lives in Greenwich Village.My Charmed Life: Rocky Romances, Precious Family Connections and Searching for a Band of Gold is her first book.
