Musa Jouaneh

Musa Jouaneh is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Rhode Island (URI). He is enthusiastic about engineering education and has been teaching a senior-level Mechatronics course (MCE433) at URI since 2003. He is the author of several textbooks on mechatronics as well as the author or co-author of over 80 other publications. He received two URI College of Engineering Faculty Excellence Awards and the URI Foundation Teaching Excellence Award. Dr. Jouaneh received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and his master’s and doctorate degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley. He is a fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and a member of the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
