Martin Killcross

Martin is the award winning author of the IChemE accredited Chemical and Process Plant Commissioning Handbook which describes a practical methodology to process plant commissioning. The 2nd edition of the book builds on the author's considerable experience and captures additional learning gained from working in new business sectors. Having gained a significant knowledge commissioning a wide range of processes and unit operations within the Chemical, Oil & Gas, Fertiliser, Catalyst, Polymer and Nuclear sectors; Martin has worked in many locations worldwide. In May 2013, Martin was delighted to join an illustrious list of authors who have received the Brennan medal, presented by the IChemE, for their best publication, in his case of 2012. As well as attending to the day job, Martin finds time to travel and present at commissioning conferences and associated events worldwide. His long suffering wife however is happy to tag along and sample what the shopping has to offer at whatever location he finds himself speaking at. Martin has three grown-up sons and three wonderful grandchildren.
