John Syrbu

John Syrbu received his B.S. in Biology at the University of Iowa and earned his D.D.S. at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry and Dental Clinics. After completing a General Practice residency at the Minneapolis VA Health Care System and private practice in Apple Valley, MN, John returned to academics as a clinical professor at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Current works by John Syrbu include "Practical Social Media for Dentists", "The Complete Pre-Dental Guide to Modern Dentistry" and "Dental Art and Humor" which feature his dental cartoons. John also enjoys writing and illustrating children's books such as "What Happened in the Middle of the Night?" and "Tommy the Tooth: Tommy's New Friend".
