Nick Davis is an award-winning writer, director, and producer. In 2001, he formed Nick Davis Productions, which has produced over 75 hours of non-fiction and documentary programming for television for outlets such as A&E, Bravo, History Channel, Sundance Channel, Nat Geo, TLC, and many more. The third generation of his family in the entertainment business, Davis’ first book was the novel Boone (written with Brooks Hansen), published in 1990 and named a notable book of the year by the New York Times. More recently, he wrote a book about his Grandfather and Great-Uncle, COMPETING WITH IDIOTS: Herman and Joe Mankiewicz, a Dual Portrait, and Once Upon a Time in Queens: An Oral History of the 1986 Mets.
