Lance Henderson

Lance Henderson (1938-) was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, after moving from the west coast of the USA. He has been involved with computer security and encryption for over twenty years, and involved with computers since the age of ten. His first book, "Darknet", focuses primarily at the beginner to immediate level of securing one's connection and ip address from advertisers as well as search engines on the web, with an introduction to encryption software such as Truecrypt, Drivecrypt, PGP and Freenet.

He holds a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science with a strong focus on AI and cryptography.

Hobbies include: sailing and/or boating in the Gulf of Mexico, Mardi Gras in the French Quarter of New Orleans, and finding weaknesses in firewalls, security algorithms and applications.
