Dionna L. Mann

Dionna L. Mann is an independent researcher and children’s book author who loves uncovering human-interest stories hidden within African American history. As a work for hire author, she's written both fiction and nonfiction children's books for Scholastic Press, Lerner, Capstone, Little, Brown, and other educational publishers. Her debut novel for young readers, MAMA’S CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS (Margaret Ferguson Books, August 6, 2024) was chosen as a Junior Library Guild Gold Selection.
