Vickey Kall is a freelance author and novelist living in Los Angeles, California. She faces the daunting task of promoting two books that have absolutely nothing in common but research: Death Speaker, a historical novel rich in Celtic history and ancient lore, and the Boomer Book of Christmas Memories, a nonfiction collection of stories behind the toys, foods, shows, and decorations that Baby Boomers remember--stories so wacky that fiction would be more believable.
A native Californian and Baby Boomer, Vickey's articles on local history and pop culture have appeared in many magazines, books, and encyclopedias, written under the name Vickey Kalambakal.
She chose to shorten her name for the books, assuming that no one but her relatives could spell Kalambakal without help.
