Bob Sornson, Ph.D. Early Learning Foundation Bob Sornson is an award-winning author and international consultant whose work focuses on competency based learning, early learning success, and parent engagement. He works internationally with school districts, universities and parent organizations. In 2001 he founded the Early Learning Foundation, dedicated to giving all kids a chance to become successful learners for life. Bob earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree at the University of Michigan and his PH.D. from Andrews University. For over thirty years he worked as a teacher and as an administrator in Michigan public schools, and developed an acclaimed model early learning success initiative that focuses on personalized competency based learning for every child.
