Paula Heaphy

Paula Heaphy is a book illustrator as well as a textile designer in the New York fashion industry. She holds a degree in Fine Arts/Fashion Design from Syracuse University, a certificate in 3D Animation/Special Effects from New York University and has studied visual art at the Banff Centre for the Arts and Vanderbilt University in Nashville. Heaphy's creative projects have included glassblowing, shoemaking, bookbinding, animation, pinhole photography, intaglio and woodcut printing. She is the illustrator of Nobody!, Weird!, Dare!, and Tough!, a series of children's books published by Free Spirit. She lives in Brooklyn, New York. www.theweirdseries.com www.paula-heaphy.com
