Kimberly Foster

Kimberly Foster was born and lives in her beloved Chicago, IL. She lived for a time in Los Angeles and worked in the entertainment industry. Unhappy with life in L.A., she drove alone cross-country in a "drive-a-way" car packed with her belongings in the middle of winter to get home to Chicago. No stranger to hard times, Kimberly survived homelessness and abject poverty to live in relative comfort with her two dogs. Her books center on helping others who are struggling through hard times. The Broke-ass series is equal parts anecdotal memoir and satisfying recipes.
