Mark Barnard wrote and produced the radio anthology series OPERATION: DEEP SPACE while in college. After that, he branched out into a brief stint as a stand-up comedian, writing and performing his own material. His publication credits include work as an artist, inker and scripter, with credits in over 50 issues of various comic books for the US and UK market. More recently, he created several new-pulp series starring The Red Ace, The Man with the Green Eyes and The Eclipse, before shifting to writing detective stories. Mark also helms Left Ear Productions, working as an audio book producer/narrator. Most recently, he has scripted three stories for the DICK TRACY comic strip, creating the character Yeti. His recently finished the third novel in his OTHERWORLD isekai fantasy/adventure series, and is shifting to compile a collection of stories involving his 1940s New Orleans P.I., 'Red' Gammon. Also in the works are DEATH IN NEON, the second book concerning 'Fish' Dugan, his hard luck NYC P.I. who appeared in FISH OUT OF WATER, and a revival of an early light adventure project, SPIRITCHASERS. At the moment, work is underway to finish the 25th audio book adaptation of his books, and a contract is in place for the 26th. Current projects include a fourth OTHERWORLD book, THE EBON SEA, and a new plight adventure roject with a female protagonist (a not to his wife) -- all three in the isekai genre. An avid photographer, gamer, and film and animation buff, residing in the Midwest with his wife.
