Miles Orvell

Miles Orvell grew up in Queens, NYC--first in Sunnyside, then Rego Park. He spent the Sixties in school (Columbia, then Harvard), and got his first teaching job at Temple in Philadelphia, where he continues to live with his wife and their dog, not far from his two children and grandchildren. He retired from his long academic career in American Studies at the end of 2023 and is writing the next chapter.
