Jordi Cabot

Jordi Cabot has over 20 years of expertise in helping companies build better software faster using all types of model-based techniques. As part of his work, he has collaborated in the development of several new modeling languages and frameworks to automate the development of software in different domains. He is now leading a very ambitious 5-year project aimed at building the first open-source low-code platform focused on accelerating the development of smart software systems. This project is funded by a FNR (Luxembourg National Research Fund) Pearl grant led by the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, where he currently leads the Software Engineering RDI team, and with the participation of the SnT/University of Luxembourg, where he is an affiliate professor. He has previously held positions in France (Inria and IMT), Spain (UOC) and Canada (University of Toronto).
