Shawn B. Redford

Shawn B. Redford (PhD) teaches in the USA and Kenya, East Africa. Shawn has committed over 25 years of his life to offer biblical skills for understanding God’s mission, so that Scripture may reshape, guide, and sharpen our existing mission practice. Shawn teaches in biblical theology of mission, specializing in missiological hermeneutics, at Fuller Seminary's School of World Mission/Intercultural Studies and at Africa International University-Nairobi Evangelical Graduate School of Theology (AIU-NEGST). Shawn has authored and edited several books and chapters in this field, including _Missiological Hermeneutics: Biblical Interpretation for the Global Church_. Shawn is married. He and his wife have three children. Shawn enjoys many outdoor activities including rock climbing, hiking, and backpacking with his family.
