Claudia Strasser

Claudia Strasser created The Paris Apartment in 1993 as boutique in New York City. Her first book is The Paris Apartment, Romantic Decor on a Flea Market Budget. (1997) She now resides in Miami and travels to and from Paris yearly to shop at and unravel the mysteries of the flea markets. An enormous labyrinth of small villages, she's been studying the lay of the land for decades learning the ins and outs of dealer markets, warehouses and shipping. She photographs and writes about all the markets in the city in her second book, Paris Flea Market Style. (2013)
