Rachel Berman, RD, is a registered dietitian and nationally recognized nutrition expert who has helped thousands of people manage their weight and improve their health. She’s worked in hospitals, clinics, and through digital media to translate scientific information into practical advice. Berman’s core philosophy is in-line with the Mediterranean diet, emphasizing balance and moderation, and she’s passionate about helping others develop healthier relationships with food. Berman is a Senior Vice President at Dotdash Meredith, America’s largest publisher, where she leads content and business strategy for award-winning websites related to health and parenting. Berman authored the first edition of Mediterranean Diet For Dummies and Boosting Your Metabolism For Dummies and has appeared on The Today Show, as well as several television and radio health segments. Berman earned her degree in Nutritional Sciences from Cornell University and completed her dietetic internship with Northwell Health. She lives in New York with her husband and two sons.
