Margot DeBot is an author of over 50 beginning reader books for young children and struggling readers. She is a reading specialist who began writing about a character named Billy when she was unable to find “Just Right” books for her students. Her books include both fiction and nonfiction titles. Her most recent books are a series of beginning graphic novels about superheroes, one with a physical disability. Her inspiration comes from her students and her three young grandchildren. Margot lives in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
