Rob Cover is Professor of Digital Communication at RMIT University, Melbourne Australia. He is an internationally-recognised and highly-cited scholar of digital media theory; online communication, sexual identity and health, wellbeing and resilience; media scandals; media, minorities and identity/belonging; migrant community media. A social theorist and cultural studies scholar, Rob is the author of over 100 journal articles and research chapters, recent books include--Emergent Identities: New Sexualities, Genders and Relationships in a Digital Era (2019); Digital Identities: Creating and Communicating the Self Online (2016); Vulnerability and Exposure: Footballer Scandals, Masculine Identity and Ethics (2015) and Queer Youth Suicide, Culture & Identity: Unliveable Lives?
