Patricia Bourque - Old artist and Young author. At fourteen she discovered her love of horses at a summer resort which has led her to state, "If they ever make a cologne that smells like horse, I'll wear it." In her early thirties, realizing she wasn't cut out for secretarial work, she began to paint, went on to have two sold out shows at a prestigious gallery in Montreal, won some art competitions and eventually wound up taking her art 'on the road' selling at high end art and craft shows. Her work has been reproduced on calendars, cards, candles, blankets, collector plates and many other items. Although a firm believer that artists never retire, they just fade away - fading a bit has allowed her time to write, something she always had a passion for. The latest result is "An Unorthodox Match". She lives with her husband of fifty-four years and two dogs, one good and one bad - both loved equally.
