Kally Mayer writes rhyming picture books for young children. She worked with kids, loves kids and listens to kids. Most of the funny characters in her picture books are based on real children and actual situations. Kally wants to live in a world where children are snuggled up with their parents or grandparents,displaying toothless grins while giggling and enjoying reading together. She is the oldest of 7 children and has always loved writing and poetry. Working as a Youth worker with special needs children, Kally has been around children her whole life. She really enjoys entertaining them with her silly rhymes and made up stories. Kally has 3 children and 4 grandchildren which has inspired her to publish books for younger children.
