After 25 years of editing someone else's non-fiction books, I traded hats and decided to write my own books. Most of my work experience centered on sports books, so it was only natural that I would mine the same subject for my first few books. 100 Things Michigan State Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die allowed me to indulge my passion for the football and basketball programs of my alma mater. In 2016 I revised the book to reflect the last three years--which have been historically great. 100 Things Mariners Fans Should Know & Do Before They Die enabled me to explore two other passions: baseball and the Seattle Mariners.
