Julia Mueller is the author of Paleo Power Bowls, The Quintessential Kale Cookbook (formerly Let Them Eat Kale!), and Delicious Probiotic Drinks. She writes the food blog, The Roasted Root (http://www.theroastedroot.net), where she shares healthful vegetable and meat-based recipes that are primarily low-inflammatory and Paleo. Julia is a believer is personalizing your own nutrition according to your body's unique needs. She does not subscribe to a one-size-fits-all diet plan, and instead advocates finding a nutrition lifestyle that both optimizes health and is sustainable. Her mission is to provide healthful recipes to help support people on their wellness journey and to help inspire individuals to find healing in their food choices. When Julia is not developing and photographing recipes, she is playing outdoors in the Sierra Nevada mountains (Reno/Tahoe!). Mountain biking, snowboarding, and trail running are Julia's greatest passions outside of cooking up nutritious recipes.
