Andrew Burtch is an award winning historian of the Cold War and the Korean War. He has written on Cold War civil defence efforts against the prospect of nuclear war, the impact of the Korean War on Canadian military personnel and their families, as well as on oral history, the Afghanistan War, and traditional and contemporary peacekeeping missions. He is presently a staff historian with the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
