Robin Kuriakose, MD is a Cornea/External Disease/Refractive Surgery fellow at Northwestern Medicine in Chicago Illinois. Prior to this, he completed his surgical Ophthalmology residency at the Loma Linda Eye Institute in Southern California. He was born and raised in New York and received his Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.) from Virginia Commonwealth University where he graduated summa cum laude and was also inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Kuriakose is passionate about mentorship and education and since 2010, has helped students navigate their journey through medicine. He is equally excited about technology and the role it will have in improving patient care and outcomes. He has created several applications: SightKick (designed to reduce digital eye strain) and UveitisOnCall (assists providers in diagnosing ocular inflammation). In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, volleyball, basketball and exploring different cuisines.
