Grace Maccarone

Grace Maccarone is a children's book editor and author of picture books, easy readers, and board books. Her most popular books include the picture books MISS LINA'S BALLERINAS and PRINCESS TALES: ONCE UPON A TIME IN RHYME; the easy readers THE LUNCH BOX SURPRISE, "WHAT IS THAT?" SAID THE CAT, MY TOOTH IS ABOUT TO FALL OUT, and SOCCER GAME; and the board books BLESS ME and BUTTERFLY'S SURPRISE.

Grace was born in Brooklyn, educated in New York City public schools, attended college in upstate New York, and currently lives in Westchester. Her passions include editing I Like to Read books for beginning readers, ballet classes, gardening with native plants, and hanging out with friends and family, especially her grown daughter.
