Tania Schlatter designs interfaces by combining user-centered and visual design techniques. Equally interested in people, content and form, Tania is dedicated to making technology and information work for people’s hearts and minds. Work includes designing sites and apps for over 15 departments at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, productivity applications with product development teams, social good and digital magazine start ups, and e-commerce sites.
Formal study includes an M. Des. from the Institute of Design in Chicago; a summer with Paul Rand and Armin Hofmann in Brissago, Switzerland; and a BFA in graphic design. Tania teaches information design, is co-author of "Visual Usability: Principles and Practices for Designing Digital Applications," and co-owns Nimble Partners, a Boston UX firm. She has been practicing design for more than 20 years.
