R.E. Thomas

Richard E. Thomas is both a food-drinks-travel journalist and a novelist, and as of 2019 has published seven books and anthologies. Fiction-wise, he is the author of the popular Civil War novels Stonewall Goes West and Mother Earth, Bloody Ground, and remains determined to one day complete that trilogy. He has also been involved in four booze books, the latest being American Whiskey. Thomas also owns and edits The Whiskey Reviewer, is Editor-at-Large for Chilled magazine, and contributes to many other publications. When not scribbling, you can find him doting on his son, improving his left hook or hauling a ruck in Big South Fork.
