There’s nothing like storytelling. It doesn’t matter if it’s a poem or a motion picture. To be able to feel someone’s grief, loneliness, and pain. To be vulnerable sharing your thoughts and emotions with someone else. There’s nothing like it. D. R. Nguyen comes from a multiracial background which gives him a unique perspective. He published multiply books. His most popular poetry books include “Dark Days Lonely Nights” and “The Light After The Darkness.” His love for poetry led him to various open mics performing at Da Poetry Lounge, The Definitivesoapbox, The Sunday Jump just to name a few. He continues to have a thirst to tell more narrative stories including more poetry books and fiction as well. When he’s not writing, you can catch him at the movies, library, or running a marathon.
