Patrick Baumann lives in Berlin and the rest of the world as an entrepreneur and author. Don Winslow, James Ellroy, Dennis Lehane and Adrian McKinty are just a few of his favorite authors whose work he devours and tries to emulate in his own work. Captivating readers, as countless books have done to him since childhood, has always been his dream. With his thriller debut "2040 - Tag der Deutschen Einheit" (2040 - German Unification Day), he has made this dream come true.

Besides writing, Patrick Baumann runs a pool hall in Berlin and an online store for billiard accessories. Since 2012 he lives location-independently and spends several months of the year somewhere in the world.
