Two new series by this author are under the pen name Carol Roberts. The Dancer series of six books and the three book trilogy Ozark series. The author graduated from Western Military Academy, Alton, Illinois in 1959, a history of which institution is available for e readers from Kindle and in hardback and paperback through Amazon and other booksellers. Despite the school closing in 1972 it remains of interest to both older and younger generations because of the ten general officers it produced, a governor of Illinois, Bill Paley founder of CBS, Eddie O'Hare the first medal of honor winner in WWII for whom O'Hare Airport in Chicago is named and Paul Tibbets who led the first B-17 raids over occupied France and piloted the Enola Gay to drop the first atomic bomb on Japan helping to end WWII. All of these men's stories are told in the history and keeps the memory of this institution alive today. After Western, the author graduated from Kenyon College, Gambier, OH in 1963 Magna Cum Laude, high honors in economics, was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the college nominee for the Rhodes Scholarship. In 1966 the author graduated from Duke University Law School with honors, member of the Law Review and Order of the Coif honorary fraternity. Before his retirement, the author was listed in various editions of Marquis Who's Who including Who's Who the World, Who's Who in America,Who's Who in Industry and Finance and Who's Who in American Law. Commissioned a Captain in the USAF, after three years as JAG in Warner Robins, GA as Chief of Area Claims and Litigation for the SE US and Puerto Rico served a year in the Vietnam Theater with Special Operations at Nakhon Phanom RTAFB, Thailand on the Mekong River. Returned to private practice in Kansas City with tax firm from which recruited to join Federated Department Stores (now Macy's) as associate counsel leaving as Operating Vice President and Senior Counsel to return to Joplin, MO, to take place of friend appointed Federal Judge, with Roberts, Fleischaker and Scott law firm. Later left the firm to engage in a variety of business and charitable interests which continue. Married to Sandra C. Scott in 1966 until her passing from cancer in 2009 resulting in a book entitled "I Love You...I Love You More!"
