Sylvia Taekema

Sylvia Taekema has worked as a teacher and volunteer in various children's programs. She lives in Muskoka, Ontario. She loves to read and to write as well as to visit libraries and classrooms to talk with kids and share the joy of reading and the power of words. She also loves to watch movies (not scary ones), bake cookies, and go camping and hiking with her family. Every day is an adventure. Every person and place has a story.
