Adrien Beaulieu: A Quest for Meaning Through History, Culture, and Passion I was born near Grenoble, surrounded by landscapes that have always inspired and nurtured me. For as long as I can remember, history, culture, and the search for meaning have guided my every step. As the founder of AB Editions, I have one goal: to learn and share. For me, sharing my discoveries and passions is about giving everyone the opportunity to explore new perspectives, while journeying together through the past and present. My love for 19th-century France, with its upheavals and fascinating figures, intertwines with a growing curiosity for other cultures. I explored China through my collection Investir en Chine, and today, I continue to build bridges between worlds and eras, particularly through my Transitions Collection, which connects the timeless wisdom of thinkers like William James to the challenges of our time. I’ve also had the opportunity to live in Canada, an experience that allowed me to better understand and embrace cultural differences. This openness to other cultures led me to create the Japan Emerging Voices series, where I bring together emerging voices from Japan to explore the country's contemporary challenges and future visions. Gastronomy, another of my great passions, allows me to reconnect with the treasures of French cuisine through the Les Cuisiniers de Légende collection. Reviving forgotten recipes and making them accessible to everyone is, for me, a way of keeping our heritage alive. But I don't stop there. The Archives of the Paris Police and the fascinating stories of past criminals captivate me just as much. These often-overlooked stories reveal power struggles, intrigues, and mysteries that continue to resonate through the ages. My journey, my travels, and my writings are, above all, quests for meaning. With every book I republish, with every new story I tell, I invite you to join me on this journey, to uncover these hidden worlds and reflect together on what they mean for us today. For me, education is the key to a better future. By combining the knowledge of the past with today's innovations, we can enrich our understanding of the world.
