Miriam Jacobs

Miriam Jacobs, BFA, CMP, RPE, is an energy bodyworker, Tarot card reader, and dance advocate. She is the creator of the first somatic Tarot deck: Polarity Wellness Tarot. “Tarot and the Chakras: Opening New Dimensions to Healers” is her first book. Her second book, "Tarot in Motion: A Handbook to Embody Wisdom through the Cards", is scheduled for release by Schiffer Publishing in spring 2021. After a successful career as a visual artist, Miriam found herself drawn to the healing arts and began her formal studies in 1989. She trained at the Polarity Wellness Network in New York City and was certified by the American Polarity Therapy Association. She also received certification in massage from the McKinnon Institute in 1996 and has studied a wide variety of other disciplines including Cranial Sacral Therapy, herbs, and meditation. Miriam's practice is in California’s San Francisco Bay Area, where she incorporates Tarot in her bodywork sessions and offers virtual and live Tarot in Motion workshops. She is interested in connecting systems for ease of use and deepening or connection with ourselves. Miriam is also available for distant healing, workshops, Tarot parties, and over the phone readings. She is on the board of Footloose Presents, an SF Bay, Performance Arts company.
