Laura Albritton

Laura Albritton is a freelance writer, college instructor, and film maker. A fifth generation Floridian, she is the author of five books, including Hidden History of the Florida Keys (The History Press). Laura has written for publications such as Harvard Review, the Miami Herald, the Florida Keys Weekly, and Sculpture magazine; she also served as the writer on a recent history documentary produced by South Florida Public Television. With her partner at Magic Kumquat Productions, Laura worked on the short conservation documentary, Introducing the Indigo and Adventures in History.
