Dave Walker

Dave Walker is a freelance cartoonist specialising in cycling and church-themed cartoons. He started drawing cartoons when he should have been concentrating on lectures at college, and his drawings have now appeared each week in the Church Times for over twelve years. He has drawn cartoons for The Guardian, Christian Aid, Greenpeace, Cycling UK, and Cycling Weekly, among others. He runs a number of cartoon websites, including cartoonchurch.com, which supplies ecclesiastical cartoons for church magazines, cyclingcartoons.com, with some of his best cycling work, and davewalker.com, his blog and portfolio site. Dave lives in Essex, where he rides various bicycles, takes photographs of the state of the tide, and is on the steering group for a Methodist chapel, The Fishermen's Chapel in Leigh-on-Sea.
