Gisela H. Kreglinger grew up on a winery in Franconia, Germany, where her family has been crafting wine and cultivating a larger than life garden for many generations.
Scrubbing wine vats and pouring wines at regular wine tastings were regular after school activities.
Her great passion is to reclaim and develop a more holistic and full-bodied Christian spirituality for the Body of Christ. She holds two Master's degrees from Regent College, Vancouver and a PhD in historical theology from the University of St. Andrews.
Gisela taught Christian spirituality at a graduate school before turning to writing full time. She is a public speaker, a passionate cook and bread baker and leads people on wine pilgrimages to France, Germany and Israel.
Gisela is also the author of The Spirituality of Wine and Storied Revelations: Parables, Imagination and George MacDonald's Christian Fiction.
