Gean Carlo Villegas is a Puerto Rican short stories writer, poet, musician, essayist, and novelist. He has a Juris Doctor from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and a Masters degree in the Arts of Creative Writing from Sacred Heart University.

Villegas published his first short story in 2000, at Sin Guayuco, an unofficial students literary magazine of the University of Puerto Rico in Mayagüez. Lates in 2003 Villegas published a poem in Poets Against the Wa titled "Tratatatatatatatatatatatatatatarán".

In 2009, he published short stories in some anthologies and a series of short stories books: EL QUE CUENTA PRIMERO CUENTA DOS VECES, VUELTA & CUENTOS POST RETRO Y SUB POST RETRO.

In 2010, after receiving an Honorary Mention in a literary contest, one of his short stories "Utopía Post Retro o cuando era homosexual" was published in El Nuevo Día, the leading Puerto Rican newspaper.

Terranova Editores published his novel OSARIO DE VIVOS in 2012.

In 2015 Algaida Editores, an European publisher, published his short story "Asesinando suicidas" as part of an anthology titled PUERTO RICO INDÓCIL:cuentos puertorriqueños del siglo XXI.

He founded EditorialDictatorial.com among other literary and publishing startup companies.
