I was a victim of abuse as a child. For me, it was my mother who hammered me with her relentless wrath. As an adult I find comfort in telling others' stories. For me, it is cathartic; for those that I write about, I am a voice...their voice!

When I write someone's story, I try to write them in first person. I truly believe it leaves more of an impact on those that read these true accounts of child abuse.
