Her memoir "Farm Girl" was serialized in the Palimpsest, Iowa's once popular history magazine and condensed in the Goldfinch, the State Historical Society of Iowa's publication for children. Joanne lives in Charlotte, NC. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers and Carolina Christian Writers.
Joanne's favorite pastimes are reading, working out, and being with her grandchildren. Her husband, Bill, is not only her favorite companion, but does all the cooking!
