D. W. Boorn is an author, illustrator and self-described philosopher for children. Her very first book, The Big Secret: The Whole and Honest Truth About Santa Claus, has won the 2014 Reader's Favorite Gold Award for Best Parenting book of the year, a Mom's Choice Silver Award and appeared on the cover of Publisher's Weekly!
