Alexander D.C. Kask

Alexander DC Kask is a freelance writer, lecturer, and lawyer currently based in Vancouver, Canada. He is the author of five works on the Japanese language and a number of papers and articles relating to the law. Prior to his study of law Alex resided for five years in Tokyo, Japan, and has worked as an interpreter, translator and editor in addition to his freelance writing. He is a frequent lecturer for the Continuing Legal Education Society of BC and taught law at Vancouver Community College. Alex holds black belts in three different martial arts as well as a teaching license in Bitchu-den Takenouchi-ryu classical bu-jutsu which he teaches at the University of British Columbia.
