Wes Hartley

Wes’ love for technology and ministry began early when he began volunteering in his church's media ministry 28 years ago when he was in Middle School. During high school and in college, Wes served in multiple capacities at Second Baptist Church, Springfield, MO. After earning his degree in Television at Southwest Baptist University in 1993, Wes began serving at Prestonwood Baptist Church and during his 6 years on staff, was deeply involved in a major relocation and building project there. In 2000, Wes became the Media Pastor at Lake Pointe Baptist Church in Rockwall, TX where he leads 22 Media Staff and over 400 volunteers. Lake Pointe currently has 18 live worship services each weekend at various campuses in the Dallas area and on the internet. Wes is relentless about building a team of staff and volunteers who can serve in their areas of passion, with repeatable excellence, who make a huge impact for the Kingdom, but do it without getting burned out in the process. Wes has a passion for mission work around the world and helping the Church see that they can be missional. Wes has had the opportunity to visit 30 countries shooting video to document the work of local churches, provide media coaching and to install technical systems.
