Nilam J. Soni

Dr. Soni is a professor of medicine and academic hospitalist at the University of Texas Health San Antonio. He is trained in internal medicine and is a recognized leader in point-of-care ultrasound. He is the visionary and chief editor of the book, Point-of-Care Ultrasound, that was awarded the 2015 British Medical Association’s President’s Choice Award. Over 20,000 copies of the book have been distributed worldwide in English, Mandarin, Traditional Chinese, Spanish, Korean, Japanese, and Russian, and the second edition was released in 2019.
