I am passionate about Sikhs, Sikh History and Sikh Politics. I started my jouney as an author with my first book 'Game of Love' (2008) which includes the inspirational history of the Sikh Gurus and Sikhs to the present day. This book was written with the aim of inspiring others about great Sikhs and sharing how Sikhs have fought against injustice throughout history. My second book was 'Reflections on 1984' which was about reflecting on the events of 1984 in which Sikhs were massacred at Amritsar, Delhi and across Punjab in a number of incidents. This book assessed 30 years from 1984 and how these events still impact lives today. The book is academic in nature and can and is used by many students and courses across the globe. I co-authored 'Turbanology - A guide to Sikh Identity' - a book which outlines the importance of the turban for Sikhs and all faiths. I have also translated 'Sikh Code of Conduct' from Punjabi into English. My other books include 'The Great Guru Nanak Vol.2' 'Sri Guru Arjan Dev Jee - a short biography' 'Sri Guru Gobind Singh Jee - a short biography' & 'The Great Guru Nanak Vol.3.' I lead Akaal Publishers - a not for profit publishing house which goes outside the traditional realms of a publishing house as we have produced music, animations and a digital documentary. We are on most forms of social media. Visit our website for more information www.akaalpublishers.com I have a BA (Hons) from Warwick University and a MSc from Aston Business School. I work full-time in tutoring Gurmukhi (Sikh Scriptures).
