Kathryn White

Kathryn White's first picture book, When They Fight, Oxford University Press, was selected as a Notable Book for Social Studies by the USA Libraries Association. She has since written over thirty books for children of all ages, and has been shortlisted for numerous awards, both in the UK and USA. She has held events at the Edinburgh and Cheltenham book festivals and presented on writing for children at the University of Georgia USA and in other areas. She has worked in the prison service as a creative writing tutor and presented events in schools across Europe, China and the US. Kathryn has been a campaigner for Save Our Libraries.
