Corky Pollan is an author and Huffington Post contributor. Her second book, Mostly Plants, was written with her daughters, Tracy, Lori and Dana Pollan. Her son, writer Michael Pollan, wrote the foreword. Corky also co-authored the multiple award winning cookbook, The Pollan Family Table. Awards include The Gourmand International Cookbook Award 2015, Best in the World, Best First Cookbook; BookPage Best Cookbook of 2015; Goodreads Choice Award Nominee for Food & Cookbooks (2014). In addition, she is a recipient of the Global Green 2015 Sustainability in Food Award and has been on the "superstar panel of judges" for Edible Feast's Eddy Awards for three years running. Corky Pollan has had a long and distinguished career in the magazine world, first as New York magazine’s Best Bets Editor (a position she held for 18 years) and later as style director of Gourmet. Corky has written for the New York Times’ dining section and the paper’s Well blog. She has covered entertaining for Coastal Living, contributed recipes to the Food Network, as well as to the Cooking Channel’s food blog. She is also the author of Shopping Manhattan, a guide to the city's best shops. Corky lives in Manhattan around the block from her daughters.
