Dana Pollan is an author and Huffington Post contributor. Her second book, Mostly Plants, was written with her sisters, Tracy and Lori Pollan, and her mother, Corky Pollan. Her brother, writer Michael Pollan, wrote the foreword. Dana also co-authored the multiple award winning cookbook The Pollan Family Table. Awards include The Gourmand International Cookbook Award 2015, Best in the World, Best First Cookbook; BookPage Best Cookbook of 2015; Goodreads Choice Award Nominee for Food & Cookbooks (2014). In addition, she is a recipient of the Global Green 2015 Sustainability in Food Award and has been on the “superstar panel of judges” for Edible Feast’s Eddy Awards for three years running. Dana began her career in the health and fitness field 30 years ago. She cofounded the renowned Pollan-Austen Fitness Center where she developed and taught innovative exercise programs and co-created a series of workout videos. She has consulted on and designed exercise, nutrition, and recipe features and has been profiled in major national magazines, television programs, and newspapers.
